Dreamlike sunsets...
With views to Sa Dragonera.
We still have in our sight the magical images of the mountain range, with its villages and cliffs. After touring the Sierra de la Tramontana in camper van, we finished our 7-stage trip in the southwest of the island.
We woke up in the town of Andratx and took a walk to have breakfast on a terrace with toast and tomato. With our batteries charged, we headed to Sant Elm, just opposite the islet of Sa Dragonera, and spent the day walking through its pine forests and visiting its remote and small stone coves. This area is full of peace and tranquility and the best thing is to wait until the end of the day to have a beer watching the sunset. The sun sets in front of us, hiding in the Sa Dragonera mountain and leaving an orange light shining on the sea.
A good alternative to do in Sant Elm is to rent a kayak and explore its small coves and if you have more experience in kayaking and the sea is calm, it is a good opportunity to cross to Sa Dragonera and explore its coast. Only for experienced people or hiring a group trip.
It has been a few days of emotions on our 7-stage camper route through Mallorca, a lot of corners to discover, a rich gastronomy, and postcard landscapes.
We ended the day having dinner in the port of Andratx and reviewing the hundreds of photos that we took as souvenirs. We only have to complete the road to Palma on our circular trip along the coast.
We leave with a great taste in our mouths, we have left some things to discover, because traveling in a camper means traveling slowly, but we have enjoyed everything we have.
Remember to respect the current regulations, take care of the environment, do not disturb the locals and leave the place clean and without a trace of our visit. Let’s take care of the beautiful island of Mallorca.
